What is truth? Truth is an absolute, so it may seem inconsistent for me to admit that the word can be defined in many ways. Nevertheless, this will be a one-purpose definition. I will suggest a definition that fits the unique place in the world for www.truthradio.com. An on-line dictionary I consulted suggested one definition of truth is: "Fidelity to an original or standard." Yes, truth is a statement, concept or other entity that is faithful to the original. True money is faithful to the original test of money: it must be a store of value, a unit of account and a medium of exchange. That means the money you carry is workable money (maybe), but it is not true money. True law is faithful to the words written by legislators. Law written by judges is not always faithful to the original. Thus, www.truthradio.com is often critical of the judiciary. True faith is faithful to the Word of the Creator of the Universe. Thus, you will find many references to the Bible at this website. True news of the day is faithful to what actually happened, pleasant or not. That is why our talk show hosts spend so much effort digging beneath the superficial reports you might hear or read elsewhere. Truth Radio is faithful to our best understanding of the absolute standards found in the Bible and to the standards of His law as expressed in nature.
